🔵 60 mins+ 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent help

You'll need
• A field of white clover
• Camera
• Blanket

Steps

Stand above a dense patch of white clover (Trifolium repens).

Do not count individual leaves. Instead, relax your eyes, look at the whole patch from a standing position, and scan for a break in the standard triangular pattern

four-leaf mutations naturally form a distinct square or diamond shape.

This can take some time so it is a good idea to take a picnic and have breaks

🔵 60 mins+ 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent help

You'll need
• Large sticks / branches
• Leaves

Steps

Look for a clear, dry, flat area away from hazards and deep slopes.

Find a sturdy tree with a low fork or wedge a long, thick ridge pole between two close trees.

Lean long, thick fallen branches securely against the ridge pole on both sides to create a tent shape.

Drape a blanket over the frame.

To keep it secure add rocks on your blanket, have breaks and enjoy your little hideaway
